Sorry to add something that might have already been said but.....
With zombies and swimming no of course they cant swim but walking along the bottom of a lake or sea could make sense but there are a few too many floors here.
1. The sea and lake would have to be not very deep and smooth sea/lake bottom. In most cases this isn’t the case.
2. How deep could they go before the pressure makes their eyes explode or crushes the zombie body into a pile of zombie parts.
3. Bodies that are recovered from the see only after a few days normally have their eyes, ears and lips eaten by local crabs and fish. Let alone sharks and other things in hotter water. So I think this would stop mass land migrations across oceans. I mean if they did make it across they would be blind, death and most likely not able to walk any longer or do anything once out of water.
4. Sea trenches, holes, reefs, reeds etc etc would stop or kill most taking these routes.
So unless its a small area of water with nothing stopping them most would just not make it lol
It would at least be a good way of thinning the numbers of zombies....
Anyway I have my zombie bag packed right next to my 2012 bag and other dooms day kits lol
