Importing a Mustang

Might be easier to go used, buyers of new ones often find the car perhaps isn't for them, maybe you could use that to your advantage and get a better deal.

Have a look round anywhere that has an american airbase like lakenheath as there will almost certainly be a yank tank seller, flogging these new with the conversions already done.

Actually, at my local ford dealer, they had a Mustang imported. Its an official dealer too.

Wheres your local dealer?

Just because a ford dealer has one on display doesn't mean they import them. My ford dealer has many non ford cars sitting in there lot and I doubt they have opened a multi-franchise. They are trade-ins.

I'm fairly sure if you go down to your local dealer you will find your journey a waste of time.

Thanks Hunger Strike, for that link, i should be able to get myself to that place, and see what they can offer

@aztechnology - it looks to be ~£6500 (extra) looking at the Mustangs that are shown on this page

Pick up a copy of American Car World and Custom Car from WH Smiths. These will have full page adverts and more from all the major importers. I think prices start at around 25k for a ready-to roll SVA'd car :)
