In Bruges

Just thought I'd add to this thread....

What a great flim, definately the best I've seen for a long while. Great story, great acting and a superb script!

Ray: What are they doing over there? They're filming something. They're filming midgets!
Ken: Ray...
[Ray runs off and watches Jimmy being instructed by the director, who Jimmy flicks off as soon as he leaves]
Ken: Ray, come on. Let's go.
Ray: **** off, Ken. They're filming midgets.

:D

Having been to Bruges over the summer for a mates birthday it made the film all the more real & awesome :D

We went up the tower in the main sqaure - but the top isn't nicely open like the film shows it, there's wire covering all the views so you can't get up and jump off :p

I kept my eye out for said midgets filming anything random but no luck >.>

Finally got around to seeing this, it's a very clever film imo. I love the way he's used the same sort of dynamic as that in Pulp Fiction with Jules and Vincent and expanded on it. By that i mean he's taken two very dangerous criminals and put them in a less obvious light, placed them in a 'normal' location as they went through 'normal' conversations. This was a great but brief dynamic in Pulp Fiction, however in this it lasted nearly the duration of the entire film and it worked really well.

The ending felt a little rushed, but that's my only complaint. It was a generally funny film with quite a few powerful moments, brilliant script and above average acting. I would recommend it.
