cant find the thread (sorry for starting a new one)

bought this ages ago , and I wasn't very good, not getting very far

as i was new to the game, every time i started the game again , map seemed to change, and it was getting hard rather too quickly, i.e. start the game , and i get bombarded with all 3 types of enemies, so i gave up


tonight, i reinstalled it and gave it another go

now i understand it a lot more, i managed to get past purgatory and onto the next bit, wow, boss fight !, yes i died ! lol

at least now i know that the map does change, but the game feels very glitchy, i get enemies spawning in front of me sometimes, and off the map where you can walk

couldn't believe how many achievement i just picked up and over 4000 gold! nice !

but that boss , ****
 
I am actually really enjoying this

what a great game
needs a co-op mode ! :D


So not sure how to "save" as i was on the 2nd part, where i died, started back on the first level again :(

i know there are save points (like at the shop)

that level i see is 2 massive flying things that throw balls of fire at you, and a skeleton bow man keeps appearing and side steps so quick and fires rounds after rounds a lot quicker than the Rogues
i nearly managed to kill one giant boss, but died
 
yeah, its the only one that i see now

i tried ignore it once, and tried to continue past it, but you couldn't, i had no choice the first time i saw it
so frustrating



every time you play the map it changes, its weird lol
 
to be honest, the whole game is confusing, good fun though !

when i die, it starts again, go though the door, it drops behind you and the map is different from last time, so i just keep going until i find i cant go anymore, have to go through the teleport thing (not the shop)

you cant get across there at all

arrows don't go that far, but i managed to get up there a weird way (from the outside up the tower) no idea if that correct or not lol
seems weird to me
 
the way i did it was get to the black rocks underneath and try and find a spot to shoot upwards, not easy though


i didn't think you could use your shield as a weapon ! lol nice ! i didn't even think of that !!

the witches though..

i got there again, and this time it was different !

This time there was a load of stairs on the right rock, that's not in the picture, i think it didn't load properly last time, but i defiantly got over and onto sold ground, i could not do that last time, it was "black rock" only


I thought it was a little odd !!
 
Finally killed Boss 1 6 times
but just had an excellent run on Level 2, probably got to about the middle one, and to the top, nearly ready to cross over the the 3rd before i died

all i had was 4x Tempest on Boss, whet in with that, which was good, managed to starve off everyone with Tempest, then i had flame arrows and Tempest for Level 2 , which was needed !
Witches with Tempest don't always work, so fire works well against them, tempest is a god send if you cant get a clear shot on the cupids, saved my bacon more than once !!
