It probably stacks up pretty badly against other manufacturer's 5870's, but thats largely because this is a 5850 :p

Powercolor are fine, frankly the difference between brands right now boils down to the number you call to RMA if you ever need to, and the design on the sticker on the cooler, they are made in the same plant, to the same specs and put together by the same people. THe biggest question right now between the brands is do you prefer CGI looking boobs, aliens or cars on your stickers :p

Personally I'd go with, all things being equal, the longest warranty which I think would be Asus/Gigabyte at the moment with 3 years.
 
I had a Powercolor card once. It broke. No response from their RMA email address either.

I won't be bothering with them again.

Also, there's no way i'm paying that for a 5850. You'd need to shave at least £50 off to tempt me.
