Its not my issue, if you dont know what you are on about and make poor conclusions expect them to be picked up, especially as you constantly seem to do the same to other people when they post.
Ive qualified my point so wriggle all you want, its obvious you generally dont know what you are on about.

It's not many OPs that can bring together both the PS4 and XO proponents in a unified "WTF?!?!?" Well done sir - I take my hat off to youIt's built with 40nm rather than 28nm process so consumes more power, it's much bigger, it has a power brick, and on top of that it's more expensive.
Why are Microsoft so far behind Sony on the hardware front? The 360 slim was OK but the ps4 makes the XBO look like a poorly assembled box with a bunch of parts inside where as the ps4 is obviously very well designed from the ground up and looks like a coherent package much like apples products do.
Why didn't Microsoft get the Surface designers to work on the XBO to consolidate the design into something coherent and small?
Why do they need a power brick and even with a much smaller console Sony doesn't?
Why is the XBO so poorly constructed and designed?
I'm not talking about power here I'm just talking about the industrial design of the parts and assembly.

you need to get out more![]()
The Xbox looks like a HTPC, the PS4 like the PS3 is pure pron.
The XBO does put quite a lot of heat out of the top vents. It'll be useful to heat the room in winter, a bit, anyway![]()
Heat output is related to power consumption, so the Xbox One will only output more heat than a PS4 if it consumes more power.
I would expect that the Xbox One wouldn't consume more power than a PS4.

It very likely will do since it's built on 40nm not 28nm like the ps4 it won't be as efficient..

With regards to the PSU being external, thats just a design decision MS have always gone for, I dont think the way the XO has been built considered it being internal as that decision (having the PSU external) was made first...

Are you sure?![]()
Have you got a source for that?? 40nm really? and ps4 28nm? that's pretty huge.

Considering that they both use pitcairn derived GPUs, and the same Jaguar CPUs, I can't see it being true. It makes no sense for AMD to produce the pitcairn GPU they've been producing for the last year and a half plus, on 40nm.
