In their prime, whom was your striker of the last generation?

No idea looking at these responses what we are defining as the last generation, we've got everything going back almost 40 years here lol

For me, Suarez. He could score with his left foot, his right foot, his head, could dribble past multiple defenders and solo a goal, could nick them in goalpoach style, could slam them in from 40 yards out. He had it all.

Away you go, Messi has produced unseen figures and broke record we didn’t really know where records until he done it. All while being able to beat a half the team. Have stupidly insane metrics right across the board.

He puts up better and consistently over a decade than anyone else.
Most dribbles, most forward passes, most successful forward passes, most attempted assists, most assists, most progressive carries etc he’s like the absolute ultimate winger/midfielder. Pretty much in the top right across the board for that.

Oh we can also compare him to forwards/goalscorers he wipes the floor with everyone in that as well aside from Ronaldo who has 40 odd more goals than him but 150 more games and that’s in the history of the game - right across the board and until last year was all done in top 5 European league!
