In what order would you ranked the following Universities (+ Lot's of Uni questions)?

I am not spamming or trolling.

I have asked these questions on another forum, and just pasted them all on here.

I apologise to those who are annoyed. I may decide to delete all the threads I have posted if I have to.

Just interested in computer science, that's all.

I am interested to know how much money computer science graduates are earning.

If your a graduate, can you fill in the information below?

University attended:
Name of degree course, is it an BSc or MSci etc:
Grade achieved, 1st, 2:1 etc:
Did you do an MSc:
If did MSc, what grade did you achieved:
Yearly salary:

Thanks

'You're' not 'your'

'What grade did you achieve?' not 'What grade did you achieved:'

I don't think people would have minded so much if you hadn't have made 5 threads. That seemed, at least to me, considerably selfish.

Perhaps you could have spent a bit of time writing a better thought out post in a single thread rather than copying and pasting related posts into four separate threads.

Hey there,

It's good to see that you are interested in University but in terms of forum etiquette, you should really have combined your two threads into one. As a rule of thumb, the 'less threads the better' as it clogs up the forum less, but you weren't to know and it doesn't really matter in this instance :)

Five, not two.

His first five posts were new threads - ones that he had copied from elsewhere.

Christ, how do you react to real problems?

Can I delete the other threads and merge all the threads into one?
No, but I have requested that your two active threads be merged.

Try not to be so 'thread happy' in the future, but don't worry, it can take awhile to get used to how things work on a new forum!

Enjoy your stay :)

I was offered a job from my placement company (did a placement on a CS degree) I think it looks good on your CV if a company takes you back and its also in their benifit as you already know everyone/procedures etc etc. I know about 3 or 4 other people from uni who also got offered a perm job from their placement.

Whats CS in this context?? Pretty surprised if people were running a course on counter strike seeing as its a pretty old game now.

Have a star for my confusion.

I was wondering, how common people get a job offer from the place they did their placement after graduation?

I assume it would depend on the individual and the company they work for. I was thinking that they let you work for them for a year, and after you finish your placement. They are unlikely to employ you again?

I had to read this several times but then again it is approaching my bedtime.

'In what order would you rank...'

'How would you rank...'

I'd suggest getting someone else to proof read your application if you're going for any of the above. Well any of the above apart from Reading that is.

Oi!

Whats wrong with Reading?

if you ignore his "ZOMG i can divide by zero" he's actually a pretty good lecturer

*edit*
right, back on topic. As much as i love Reading i would definitely put Imperial and Bath above it. not so sure on the rest because its been a good couple of years since i looked, but i seem to remember that they are all pretty good. Reading is really good (if not the best) if you're heading into the cybernetics/robotics area, but not so much for plain computer science
