Obviously these three cards are proving extremely popular with gamers snatching them up. On the Asus 1060 6G we took 1100 units, over night we have sold 223 units, unfortunately 200 of those were to a miner.

As such if your considering a purchase for gaming, we urge you to jump before prices potentially sky rocket due to all supply being soaked up by the mining craze.

We are hopeful NVIDIA GP106 will ease the demand on the regular 1060 gaming SKU but of course we can not restrict who we sell too and end of the day business is business, all we can do is warn customers.

RX 480 and 1060 6G trade blows. An even match up.

Get the 480 on Ebay at £300, if it sells grab one of the top dog 1060's or hold out for a decent price on a 1070.

Selling the 480 and grabbing a 980 ti/1070 on MM is the best thing tbh, those things are BEASTS. If you got Freesync tho kinda sad to miss it but it is what it is.

I've not seen too many 1070s or 1000 series cards at all on MM. But I guess this all makes sense. AMD don't have enough RX 480/580s to go around, so Nvidia grab that lost market with price-cut 1060s. Even so, MM can offer a 980/970 for cheaper...

I went for the white ASUS 6gb 1060 at £219, The 3gb 1060 also has less cuda cores so it tends to drop behind the 6gb 1060 and the RX 580. To sweeten the deal I then got an e-mail from OCUK giving me a code for Dawn of War 3 and Rocket league which I didn't know where on offer so that's a bonus.

I think the white 6gb Asus 1060's a great deal, I just got mine installed and for £220 with an Asus Dawn of War 3 code (currently £40) as well as the Nvidia rocket league code it's well priced and hasn't broke the bank so I'm still on track for Vega.
More importantly the itch got scratched and I've got something nice and shiny to play with for a couple of months while we wait on AMD.

I was all ready to pull the trigger on a 1070 deal for £350 but missed it by one day. Now looks like I'm stuffed against any cards I'm interested in with shortages, exchange rate getting worse and lack of vega, etc.
