So far, ordered:
  • be quiet! Pure Base 500DX ARGB Midi Tower Case - White Tempered Glass
  • Team Group 8Pack RIPPED Edition 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C14 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit
  • LG 38GL950
  • Intel 660P 2TB
  • Corsair CP-9020187-UK 750 W RM750x (only £8 more than the RM750 standard)
  • BE QUIET Dark Rock 4
  • AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
  • MS Windows 10 PRO
Still to order
  • graphics card probably going to be the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING OC 3X WHITE but it's £540 (obviously not here)
  • mobo (i'll leave it to the last minute in case the MSI toma comes out or i'll get the X570 AORUS ELITE or Pro Wifi)
  • maybe the that gigabyte wifi card, depending on if wifi onboard mobo or if i'm going to be wired

Z490 Aorus ITX is 10 layers

so i'm now looking at the MSI MEG X570 UNIFY. From a heat perspective, the 6 layer mobo, from a heat perspective, is nothing like some of those other MSIs. The VRM's are the same as the X570 ACE.

It can be had for £275 and it has wifi6, loads of features and seems to work well under load.

Ahhh ok :) ...i'm still not sure what you mean about mobo's not normally repaired twice before swapping?

also, managed to get an HX750i for £109, based on the PSU tier list I thought it was a good bargain though it only has 7 years not 10 years warranty that the rm750x/i has. Why would that be?

I ordered the MEG X570 Unify in the end. It was the fact that it has good cooling, wifi6, loads of features and the price wasnt bad either at £275.

Which means all but my replacement gpu cooler "Arctic Accelero Xtreme IV" has been ordered. I saw a review of this being used and it seems good at £55. i dont really want to set up a custom loop.

Just waiting for the ram to turn up, but here's the wired up state so far. It does power on, thankfully, the blower on the gpu is loud as hell, but i want to see speeds and temps benchmarks before i put the after market one on.
