IndyCar 2012

What is it with safety meaning something has to be ugly, first the F1 nose, now the rear end of the Indy cars.

Can't trust the Americans to go wheel to wheel so they've had to close the wheels in. :D

Unfortunately, it gives the cars a fat arse, but they like that sort of thing over there. ;)

What happened with the coverage on SSF1HD? I've just started my recorded coverage on Sky+ and its already on lap 43?

Also, how the hell can the drivers see where there going. Sato looks like he cant see over the nose!

How did the end of the race turn out? Five and a half hours of F1 might have left me a little motorsported-out, I gave up after 20 laps or so during the extended second full course caution. The cars looked slow to me, and it seemed pretty processional.

Sounds like it carried on much the same as I left it then... I wondered if the Indy coverage would make my mouse finger itch over the "subscribe" button on the full Sky Sports package, but it didn't!

I'm a bit behind watching this delayed, so sorry if this has already been discussed, but what the hell was with opening the pitlane under the SC? They bring the SC out because entrance to the pits is blocked, and then under the SC allow people into the pits!

That was utterly barking! Good way to kill marshals.

My take on it so far: Race was dull, cars are hideous, rules are funny, drivers are numpties, commentators are cringe inducing...

All in all, an improvement on last year.
