Just D/L'd the Infernal demo from fileplanet its a 3rd person shooter with some neat features , excellent graphics with ageia support and ran lovely on the 8800 , gonna play some more tomorrow get a better chance to check how the gameplay is but so far it seems ok. :)
Will post some pics too.
 
Seems like a pretty cool game... looks very good even on my 7900GT!

I imagine the game having a little or no multiplayer value, but if the SP campaign is long and good I would definitely think about buying it!

ace so far, i really like this game, visuals are stunning, and so far gameplay whilst not revolutionary is quite riveting....
 
Its some sort of FPS Heaven V Hell style game. Not played the demo yet only installed it. It appears you gain psi powers as you play ontop of weapons. Not sure it if use's a PPU or not.
 
excellent graphics. played maximum settings (1440x900) very smooth. ohh wait though how do you roll? :o double click LMB? that just fires your weapon hrmm.
 
You guys thought the gameplay was good?! Yeah, the engine seems very solid, but it seems to be a very poorly game with half-assed attempts when it came to putting in decent features.

Shooting round corners when up against a wall is very clumsy, you can't walk up behind an enemy and dispatch them quietly. Sneaking is almost completely impossible as the enemies, once alerted, always know where you are. Level design is terrible! At no point does it seem clear where to go, the cut scenes are so horribly out of sync it doesn't even live up to Half-Life 1's standards...

Seems like a horribly rushed game to me.

Mate, just get it, its amazing! The graphics engine is the most optimized I have ever seen, and the gameplay ain't half bad either. Will deffo buy when it comes out :D
 
I played it, but by the end I was pretty bored. AI seemed a bit poor (although I may have been playing on easy, not sure) and the dialogue not amazing. Some very minor stutter at the start and by the end of the demo there was some major stutter. This is vista though.

Nice graphics anyway.
 
I thought this demo was really good. I was bored and seen this so thought ill just d/l before work expecting to play for 5mins and get bored but i really enjoed it !!
 
Runs very well on 165, 2gig, x1900xt. Shame it plays like a stupid shootem up, shoot, get key, open door. Nothing new gameplay wise. What exactly about the graphics are people loving so much? Average textures, too much glowy stuff going on.

And I'm stuck. :) How do you use the transportation? press Q then left mouse - I appear in the new place but how do I stay there? Or at least how do I get psas the security cameras?
 
I guess im the only one that thought the game was rather Bland, nothing new,wasnt really impressed at all. Played for 15mins then deleted the demo.Sorry not a nice cup of char

once teleported intract with the keyboard, it turns the sensors off.
 
Yay :) i finally get to take my physx card for a spin.

Checked the ageia site and its on the list :D

only getting 50kbs on the download though :(
