Infinity Eclipse or £5k self build air cooled?

This is still technically watercooled but both the GPU's and the CPU use all-in-one solutions :)

Still 4930k with the same 32Gb RAM @2400MHz and Quad fire 295x2 but this will leave £1200 for you (or others more knowledgeable ;)) to spec the best monitor setup...

You actually get so much for your money when you buy a pre-built system too. I've always built my own computers and never knew why more people don't do the same - until I started working at OcUK. We do so much to help people it's unreal.

When something goes wrong, a return to base warranty and free parts and labour is a life saver. You could easily pay £50+ just for diagnosis of a fault, and even then there could be other issues. All of that is included with a prebuilt system from overclockers for the first 2(or 3) years.

I'd still always build my own systems, because I enjoy doing so - hence the job, but there are definite advantages of build pre-built from OcUK.

I agree with Shawy,

Will you do/can get a bette rPC for the money self-building a pre-built PC gives you many extra's such as warranty, repair and the knowledge that the system is put together by (trained) professionals. You can't ask much more than that.

@NoNameNoNumber: it'd be worth taking a look at 295x2 Quadfire power requirements, that 1200w won't be enough.

and this is another reason why it's advantageous to buy pre-built, we've done all of this testing so this sort of mistake doesn't happen.

This is the sort of spec which, if built, would experience a number of niggling issues, nothing greatly obvious but enough to know that there was something wrong. It could take quite some time and effort to get to the root of the problem because it's rare that people immediately think PSU.

If you are spending that sort of money on a system why not spend the extra couple of hundred or what ever the cost is for the build , because as said you get the warranty and you know it's been done to the best standard , especially if you get an 8 pack system :) ... I love building my own computers and thinking About going the watercooled route for the 1st time when I'm due an upgrade, but if I had a budget like that it would be a no brainer, id be going for the 8 pack .. The service you get is unreal, and you get a guaranteed overclocked CPU, where as if you buy bits yourself it's a lottery as to wether or not you get a good clocker :) ...

OK it's looking like the 8Pack system is probably the way to go (as long as it's still available).

I'd definitely be missing out on some of the fun of building (although that only lasts for a day or so admittedly...)

How would I go about a multi monitor setup for this? Would it be 4k displays?

This is great, by the way. Thanks for taking the time out to compile that.

I'd be going 3x 1440p screens with that - 3x 4k it probably wouldn't cope with max settings etc

Go for that ultra wide lg 34" 1440p screen . .suppose to be Beautiful ! Then you could have a small monitor for browsing etc if you really wanted ..
