Er... Don't know. Some that my friend sold me. He does skate and street a lot and is sponsored by some magazine or something. So I will let you decide from there.

Tempted to buy some blades seeing as there is a smooth bike lane and path going for miles along the beach. It'd keep me fit as I need to exercise more and its summer so it's perfect time really. I'm 22 though and won't be able to drag someone along with me to do it so a bit worried I'll look sad.

Haven't been on blades for years either ;/

I still have mine from about 10 years ago in the garage, but they're a bit mouldy now. I used to skate miles to my wife's house before we got married and loved it.

The only realy issue now is I'm almost 30, and it's IMPOSSIBLE to look anything other than ridiculous on skates at this age. :(

Really been meaning to buy some new skates... i jog to work in the mornings and it is getting boring really fast need something a bit quicker :D

Used to blade years ago, had some aggressive blades but was always to sissy to actually do anything but recreational skate so will be aiming for something nice and fast this time

If you like roller blading and martial arts the perfect crossover sport is roller hockey, well it is if it's as violent as ice hockey :)

Used to blade a lot at university because our campus had some cracking furniture, slopes, steps and bars. It was basically a skate park :D

just a headsup. rampworx is a massive skatepark.
and i dont mean square footage, i mean that all of the ramps are huge. orientated mainly towards BMX and experienced skateboarders/rollerbladers.

there is no real beginners area there either.
you want to find an empty carpark.

Most leagues over here are non checking, but not non contact :)

I played roller hockey as a kid, but back then it was all quad skates and a ball.

I took it up again (about 13 years after giving up) a couple of years ago and now it's all inlines and pucks :)

Kind of had to teach myself to skate on them as I'd not really done much on blades bar a bit of street skating 15 years ago (still got my old roces romes in the cupbaord somewhere).

So I only skate indoors when playing as can't use them outside, it'd destroy the soft wheels, but I love it :)
