Yes, you USE less energy digesting it, but the kilojoule content should be the same.

it most likely will be, i seen a nutritionist when i was young and i cannot remember exactly what she said but even though she said smoothies helped, eating fruit is a lot better for you and keeps you slimmer.

Will fruit be digested any different than a smoothie?
