Insomnia Sufferers in here!

Knock one out before bed mate. Be reet.

Jokes aside. Anything stressful happening in your life? Always found mine to be partially stress related or when I stopped smoking cigarettes.

Feek has posted it here, though, so I guess he approves.

I also suffer. I had a sleep clinic thing through the hospital, which was all done by phone. It really worked. For a while I slept much better. I have lots of tips like not going to bed until you're actually falling asleep, and only sleeping in the bed, not doing anything else like reading (bar shagging).

Unfortunately, I have an incredibly painful hip atm and the insomnia has come back full force.

It's been ages since I slept in the marital bed because I just keep my wife up rolling around all the time. I find it much easier to sleep on my own because I don't have to worry about her.

Anyone using CBD oil and if so are you using the stuff on Amazon or the more expensive stuff?

I don't suffer from it very often but being in my 50s now its 3 times a night for a pee :( and sometimes dropping off again can be a problem.

Not sure if I was suffering from insomnia, but almost every day for the last year or so I'd wake up at 2-3am and not be able to go back to sleep again, which in turn was killing me at work.
I've recently started eating at 7pm rather than 8-9pm and also switched my evening meal to rice and fish/chicken and avoiding heavy meals mainly including red meat.
It's been quite a transformation, and now (apart from the odd toilet break) I sleep right through until 5:45 when the alarm goes off and I actually have a spring back in my step when I get up.
I can only put this down to eating earlier and eating a light meal.

The issue that I have with this is it usually goes until 4 or 5 am, by which time I get 2-3 hours sleep and then the world wakes me up.

And once disturbed the brain wont switch off again.

Nice tip, I do usually eat late, will make an effort to eat earlier for the next few days.

Have tried rain sounds previously but never found a recording that worked, natural rainfall with the window open however sends me off extremely quickly.
Have you tried audio books?
Troy, Mythos and Heroes narrated by Stephen Fry sends me off pretty quick.

I have been living with insomnia for half my life. I did shift work 10 years and my body clock seems to still run on that cycle. I see it as a bonus as thankfully lack of sleep doesn’t affect me.

The Amazon stuff isn't great, Browns CBD is where I get mine from. Has to be full spectrum though.
