Hi,
Basically my dad has decided to ditch his IDE drive and his desktop PC for his laptop, so ive nicked his 80GB drive. Its got windows and everything on it, which i do not want as i want it as a storage device not a drive with an OS on. Im using my SATA 80GB drive currently, and installing the second IDE drive causes a BSOD upon bootup.
Is there any way i can totally wipe this drive without having to go though the XP disk which will format then reinstall a copy of XP?
Cheers
