Hi guys, do the following results seem ok for a C300 SSD:

102kthf.jpg

Full Spec:

13.3" (Acer CineCrystal, 1366x768 HD, High Brightness, LED Backlit)
Intel® Core 2 Duo 1.4Ghz (ULV SU9400, 3 MB L2 cache, 800MHz FSB)
64GB Crucial C300 SSD
4GB (DDR3 1066MHZ)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330
Win 7 Ultimate 64

I simply unscrewed the bottom and popped the HDD out. Slotted the SSD in and screwed the case back on. Switched on and went into the BIOS and set the HDD to primary boot device, and then installed Win 7.

The performance boost is great, it was already a very nippy laptop. Do the results above seem about right? Do I need to enable/disable anything to get the best performance out of this HDD, it's the first time I've ever stuck one in a laptop. :)

you need to use other benchmark programs that really test SSDs but it seems fine since your laptop is most likely using SATA 1

I have a rockdirect with T7200 2.0 Gz 7950GTX which i'm stuffing in an SSD as well but.

you'll only get max read speed btw if you use that drive with SATA 3 connection so exspect around 220mbs from a good benchmark.
