I'll start from the er start..so with my host TSOhost, made a subdomain for blog use and so I could use a CMS so I could self teach my self CMS software, using 'Softalicious' to install WP, I tried to change the themes around but none of them are showing up the images let alone the theme correctly and have come to the conclusion I might have install the WP CMS in the wrong directory, being a noob and no simple guide unless I search for ages.

Could installing in a 'wrong' directory be an issue?

Example if I'm not making sense:

mydomain.com is my main

made a subdomain as: blog.mydomain.com

Which somehow created a new folder on my server "blog"

In which I created a folder called "dir" while installing a WP.

Now should I leave it there or drag the "dir" folder to the "www" folder instead? I'm lost here:confused:

Have you got a link to your site? Wordpress would need to be installed under the subdomain to make it work properly.

Just create a new database or delete the existing one and then start again but make sure when it asks for URL you put subdomain.site.com as the URL.

There ya go:

Yeah it's not much to look at as it's been deleted and reinstalled 5-6 times now, also check that page out on my plugins page, all the icons are missing, that isn't normal I assume?

Hmm not sure where I went wrong, shall I do a manual install of WP stead of using the Softalicious way?

EDIT: Just checked cpanel, it was hotlink protection :/

just took a look, yes you have cpanel. Also, why are you using twentyten as your theme, twentyeleven is much better!

Theme changed :P Ah I rarely use Opera, FF was my main but annoyed the hell outta me due to the ram it was eating up...then again I do still have 40+ tabs open on it still :/

right it's working fine now...
If I was you I'd add the following plugins, wp-supercache, yoast seo, jetpack (though you need a wordpress.com account) and statsurfer. If you want a really good free theme that is pretty mobile friendly check out nomnom
