I've bought a 128gb Samsung 830 to go a long with a new build. What would be the best drivers to use for the 830? I've seen the Intel RST driver mentioned but I'm not sure.

Also how would I treat the SSD differently during installation to a normal HDD?

Thanks in advance,

:)

dont need the drivers mate, RST is a technology provided by intel for RAID and using the SSD like a cache instead of installing an OS on it.

If you boot into the Windows 8 installer you should see if without any issue like a normal HDD...

You don't need the Intel RST drivers but sometimes you get better performance by using them instead of the default Microsoft driver.

This assumes you are building an Intel system.
