They are one of the most annoying things to come out of 2021 so far.

It's the selfishness that grates the most. They are passionate about their cause, as are a lot of people.
But in their special, privileged world, of course they have the right to repeatedly inconvenience tens of thousands of people in the pursuit of drawing attention to it (and i'm not even sure what 'it' is - all houses that can be effectively & economically insulated pretty much have been - it isn't the 1970s)

So if I blockaded an A&E is it still a peaceful protest? In all seriousness where do you draw the line? Maybe I stop coal being delivered to a power station and a hospital loses power, where is terrorism and where is peaceful protest? If there is material damage or you are causing actual damage or risk to lives then your protest isn't peaceful. The actual intention is to block traffic which indirectly causes emergency services to be unable to operate, you're now causing risk of death and your protest is no longer valid, Police should forcibly remove and detain, repeated instances should result in detention of 30 days at a local Police station or prison where necessary. If the Police are failing to act responsibly then the UK government should call in the Army to maintain the peace and consider the protest an act of terror and Police should be reprimanded.

Not at blocking a road, they arent blockading A&E or power plants so those points are futile. FWIW I didn't agree with them saying they wouldn't let ambulances through. If we use your definition any protest would be banned as they all cause some disruption of risk of a delayed emergency response somewhere..

What more is there to say, you label people Karen's, you seem to have convinced yourself that lying in-front of motorists is in some way peaceful and go around calling people Nazi's. It would appear it is you that better needs to justify yourself.

If those are your opinions then it is a waste of everyone's time.

Ah yes, we should also implement a food ban in pubs etc. and a punitive tax on food, put massive health warnings on it and keep it out of sight.

That's your own opinion and it's entirely irrelevant.
Legally, it is a peaceful protest. That's why the government needed to apply for an injunction. If it wasn't peaceful then it wouldn't be a legal protest and the injunction wouldn't be needed.

It's not a road though, it's the M25, it's a critical part of transport for London, it isn't a minor inconvenience. If we were in a conventional style war, bombing motorways would be a pretty valid thing to do for example.

Tbf people are impotently expressing anger through hyperbole they aren't calling for anything seriously.

I'd call diving on the floor in the middle of the M25 attempted suicide rather than murder tbh.

And if they cause a pileup that kills what are effectively bystanders, then it's a murder suicide.

If they want to kill themselves, so be it.
