That 15 metre reel you linked is 105 quid. That ain’t cheaper than 3 of quid a metre!?

What I meant is, a professional installer would buy cable in bulk - so should get a better price per meter buying a full reel at a time than a DIYer would get buying smaller individual cuts.

I agree the amazon link is overpriced. I was just pointing out that the bits involved in a proper electrical hook-up cost quite a bit more than running an extension. And is it worth it, if you're not planning on staying there long term.
