My insurance is due for renewal soon, and my renewal quote is £740, almost identical to last year.

I decided to do a bit of shopping round, and like last year I was getting quotes of £700-900 before I even mention the mods, so I was going to stick with my current insurer.

Then a few of the guys on UJCC mentioned Warwick-Davis.

£625 F/C, all mods declared.

result

more spare cash for mods :D

I wish, it's been an expensive few weeks, with Tax, MOT, 4 new tyres, and insurance all coming up at the same time.

I'm very, very skint :(

Ewwww chuck that horrible FCD in the bin !!

Mine is due soon, going to be ringing around because there's no way on gods green earth that I'm paying £1200 again.

I'm looking @ insurance at the moment too.

I've tried Adrian Flux, Sky (both known to give reasonable quotes for modified cars) and after you posted am waiting for Warwick-Davis to get back in touch.

So far AF and Sky have been £1250 or more (TPFT, mods declared), but the cheapest for me so far is Elephant at £800 TPFT, even with mods declared!

i dont feel so bad now after seeing other peoples mine is around 650 fully comp with mods declared, thats with elephant. one of the very few places to have it on their database :D

Cheers DreXeL, I don't need it until the 29th anyway, thought it best to get quotes done early and then I'll know how much money I need to save this month ;)

Im with Warwick Davis, only people who would original insure a modded JDM Teg to a under 25 with no no claims, an accident and speeding conviction :D

Renewed back in October for nearly half what i paid the previous year.

I've been looking around, mine is up for renewal in May. My Civic is only worth £3k so I'm sticking with TPF&T for now, should be around £1100 with £150 excess and mods declared (exhaust and filter by then).

FC would be £1600 or thereabouts. I can't find anybody who can beat Admiral for me.

Mine's due in April. I'll give those guys a try. :)

I want to get it for about £800 this year. I hate paying insurance.
