Gave this a go last night briefly. I like the graphics and gameplay, while a little bit glitchy, is very good.
However, I find it awfully confusing. At one point, I was running around right behind an enemy for about 20 seconds, and I was not sure if he was in fact an enemy. finally he came across some friendlies (to me) who shot him and it hit me - he was a bad'un.
I had no idea where I was supposed to be going or what I was supposed to be doing. In the end I just settled for following others from the spawn point.
I know this is supposed to be realistic, and it succeeds quite well. However, there should be something helping to differentiate between friend and foe. Lets face it, games just aren't up to the quality of what the real world actually looks like, and were I actually in that situation I would be able to tell en enemy by looking at him.
I need to visit the site, and hopefully that will provide some tips on what to do, etc. There probably is info on overcoming most of my quibbles.
Also, does anyone think that some of the people on there are just too damn quick with aiming? Sometimes I barely have time to register the fact there is someone on screen, before this person turns, takes and and shoots me in the blimmin head. Kind of like CSS, which I played for the first time this weekend too.
