Insurgency

I used to play this quite a lot.
Kind of tailed off with work taking the **** and a few of my favourite servers going down the pan - offline or public players kicking decent gamers for some BS kiddie reasons.

Played a lot of Co-op.

What's the latest update like as far as mods go - I had quite a few skins running.
 
I played quite a bit at the start when it was apparently going to be a fairly competitive focused game - but I've not really seen it take off so sticking with CS:GO.
 
Although I have about 120 hours logged, I probably am a relative newcomer compared to others. Can't really speak about mods, I play this vanilla.

Give it a new try if you haven't played for a while, I believe there have been quite a few changes over time... seems to be updated fairly regularly.

Also only really play PvP, but co-op is a nice distraction from time to time. Fun with the excess of supply points!
 
Played loads of this some months ago fired it up other night and just could not get back into it (have been playing lots of cs go) may try again this week ;)
 
I play this too, kinda strange as I never got into CS:go

Have at least a couple of rounds most nights.

No going rambo, ends in insta-death normally

I like the fact that even the "pro" players get killed by a single stray shot too. Or a damn RPG :D
 
Play the Push mode :) just started too and this one is a bit more forgiving that the single life modes. Respawns etc and plays like rush in bf! Kind of! But you can really get a lot of kills etc and help move the team forward. Ive not even done the training yet so its not too tough to grasp imo
 
I am loving this game.... it just goes to show that that lower budget games can and are just as good as AAA titles, this is running on the source engine as well. Tactical and realistic, so many good different game modes too.

It's like CS and Battlefield have had sex and this is what it's produced.
 
just seems full of morons atm.

Been in a couple of games over the last couple of days where people just refuse to cap and sit in a corner trying to get easy kills but end up losing us the round on purpose.

Think with me and kwango playing the other day I came MVP for a couple of rounds in a row doing nothing but getting cap points, and he did the same by farming kills protecting caps.

massively frustrating when youre in a compet game, watching someone cap the point so youll get respawned back in and at the last min they run out of the cap and get killed.
 
This is the only game which I've played where getting shot at is often quite terrifying. Arma comes close but I find I often don't want to come out of cover when someone shoots at me

yup, nothing worse. the kill chasers. not interested in the objective in the game, only interested in stroking their k/d.

invariably they are guff too, and the more kills they chase the more times they get smashed.
 
I can easily see this becoming my go to fps replacing bf4.

Love it can't really think of anything I'd change.

Soundtrack is amazing not that I've ever fired a real gun but that's how I'd imagine they sound.
 
playing this with the boyz tonight, epic fun. Such a great feeling, gun sounds are amazing, and that A10 doing a gun run in the valley, just gives me a smile everytime. Only thing I wish, was that there was more depth to it, it kinda seems pretty basic, as far as I can tell, you get nothing by levelling up.

Nexus, you gotta get on this.
