That's a fair point. I was just saying the (Intel) drives are decent and should be considered if the price is right. I'm sure there are better alternatives out there though mind you, like the one you suggested.

I'm using a Samsung 840 250GB Basic Sata 3 SSD in my computer. Lovely drive.

Re Samsung SSD reliability. I own 4 830's and 1 840 Pro in various machines. They have all been perfect, however I corrupted a 830 by running manual trim via Samsung Magician.

Re Intel SSD's if you look at reviews they are known to be very reliable.
