Going for a SSD drive ready for a fresh install for when Diablo 3 comes up May 15th. I'm having a hard time trying to decide between the 330 and 520 is there any real world difference between the two? I am I best just going for the 330 and saving the money

Cheers

I'd actually go for the Samsung or the Crucial. There are reports that although Intel's Sandforce SSDs are more reliable than the OCZ ones, they've not totally fixed the BSOD problem.

If you don't believe me, have a quick Google and you'll see what I mean. Personally I wouldn't touch anything Sandforce until their 3rd Gen controller launches, especially as given the pricing on the other drives, you don't have to.

Ah yeah I see it is a little risky, BSODs are the last thing I want to worry about. Might go with an M4 then

There's no guarantee you'll have problems of course - I had a Vertex 2E for a while and it was rock solid. But the question is: why bother with the risk when the M4 and 830 drives are generally spot on and at a good price too?
