Intel 6 Core CPU w/ hyperthreading

Ok so I just did a 3DMark test on my new laptop turns out my score is around 4500. But here's the interesting part. It shows another users highest score submitted to the website at 42934 with an un-named intel processor.

It's gonna be a gulftown i7 980x obviously... 3D mark probably won't have these CPU's in their database because they aren't available in retail just yet, but plenty of people have got their hands on ES versions.

I thought more cores meant more heat?
The i7 doesn't really go over 4.2ghz on air and iirc the new 6core will still be on 45nm.
