Too Busy Counting One's .....
When absolutes are not possible and relativities reign, there will always be pros and cons. Pros & cons are not about who is right or who is wrong but who is correct for the time being. As such, human societies will always be in conflict and such conflicts are merely exploring the envelope, establishing the boundaries of proper behaviour according to the prevailing “arts-farts”, “sensibilities”, and similar hypocrisies. Such a way of existing will always be fluid and is meant to be so.
Without knowing and declaring the “boundaries of proper behaviour”, conflicts will slide into all-out destruction and usually does every so-often. With the advent of weapons of greater destructive capabilities, outright conflicts are deliberately limited by those who still hold the upperhand to ensure that the unthinkable do not materialise, not that they really care about the other lunatic/idiot other than what it might do to their re-election chances, financial markets, etc, etc.. That’s one reason why the nuclear option is the final option. All it needs is one nutter to yeild to his unrelinquishable demand and it will spread before the flame quenches, if at all. This is why humans need to find out quickly how they are constructed and absolutes established, and like those first few fishes coming onto land eons ago, those who are desirous of Truth [and not the nutters and their “truths”], must find It quickly. It cannot be a few more generations before Evolution or Devolution stake their final claim.
Only those who are able to witness ping-pong conflicts can become those “first few fishes” which means that the religious lunatics and the intellectual idiotics are not the ones. These two example faces of the same ping-pong coin are merely another, “All The World’s A Stage …”. Conflicts exist because “Relativities” are used by Evolution to allude to the existence of “Absolutes” and therein lies the secret that had eluded the intellectuals with their heartlessness or the emotionals with their brainlessness. Unbalanced individuals are who they are and are not for converting through arguments or subjugation but used as examples for those reaching the shores of sanity to “see the point”. Every step we take is never by accident, including our birth and agreeing or disagreeing with this statement is not the point. How can those who are desirous of higher awareness/evolution, realises the truthfulness of the statement, is the point.
What that Intel advertisement aimed to do was to unbalanced those it seeks to unbalanced and they call that, “marketing”. To attract attention, regardless of the consequences and the consequences are well debated before it went to be paw-printed by the honcho concerned. They took a risk for nothing happens by accident. It’s whether you are balanced enough to see through to their motive. They don’t mind a slap in the hand or even the odd gestured monetary punishment. They’ve achieved their aim because their advertisement advisors played the, “We see only what we want to see”, trick. Relativities have only one value and that is to alert the individual to his weaknesses but should they alert you to your “greatness” as measured by your reactances, they’ve nailed you and you don’t even know it. How so? Because you were to busy declaring your greatness or your undying commitment.
