INTEL BRING THE BIG GUNS!

No problem.

Depends on the kit and motherboard, 1T should be possible at 4Ghz. I've not used the Prime, but the DRAM topology on the Apex will help, too.

Also regarding thermals, you can adjust VCCIN manually to help, as some boards like to scale to 2v (some CPU need this much). Just be sure not to lower it too much as the CPU will throttle under enough load. I'm currently measuring 1.97v at Probeit.

OK now i'm not happy, just tried CR1.

Mental... now to try stabilise it

And thats enough juice for now too! haha

Yeah, it will. Firestrike/TimeSpy Physics test uses Bullet which is sensitive to memory latency

It appears pre-order option has been taken off with a highlighted message saying these products are no longer available ???

Well if it was a fake launch to gauge feedback hopefully they will scrap the TIM, otherwise just don't bother releasing with those prices.

If it's the case that reviews are rubbish, you just cancel the pre-order.

Yeah, I know mate... It was a joke, hence the smiley. Unless the upcoming 8700k turns out to be phenomenal and has soldered IHS I'm boarding the 1900x train I think. My FX8350 is starting to show its age for my (heavily threaded, non-gaming) usage.

In context to the silly money people are prepared to pay for a Nvidia 1080ti, I suppose these aren't such bad value for money. Going by recent trends they'd be a better investment in the long term.

So they've been pulled, itchy trigger finger at Intel. No word from anyone at OCUK to confirm why they were removed.
