Is it just me or are the advances over the last year really becoming more and more negligible? I just don't see massive jump here like there used to be back in 2007/8.

Oh dear, expensive!![]()
Finally Intel six core cpu at affordable price of $400 or around £250!!(Hypothetically assuming exchange rate doesn't vary much next year
)
But seriously if we are are getting Haswell E 6 cores around £250-£270, what would be the implications regarding say quad core Broadwell or Skylake, price wise, i.e. would the prices be lowered for mainstream quad core Broadwell & Skylake? (I know I am jumping the bandwagon, but interesting times ahead indeed)

I would like the see the igp removed from the high end parts so they can move the cores further apart to aid cooling.
