Not seen a thread dedicated to the M0 chips, and I was blissfully unaware that I even had one as I was just going to chuck it into a mATX setup I was building, but I just happened to check the box and after a second look to confirm it I've got one of these:-

So rather than finish my build I thought I would chuck in my main PC and see what it can do.

Good work so far. Apologies if you realised this already but do keep in mind that the TJunction on these chips are 100c and as a result your Core temperatures are infact 15c more than what Coretemp states. :)

My ambient temps are about 15C so I think what Core Temp is reporting for the M0 chips is actually correct.

The info going around about Tjunction etc is wrong regarding M0 although it does appear applicable to G0. Also CoreTemp 0.95.4 does appear to get it right for now anyway and is likely due to Intel releasing the required info to read the CPU's TjunctionMax (although with a disclaimer saying it's not guarenteed).

I tested it myself to make sure and you can see my E2180 M0 definately has an 85c TjunctionMax:

Also to add to that the delta between Tcase and Tjunction is often ~15c +/- 3c on B3/L2 but for M0/G0 it appears to differ depending on the CPU. I have two M0 CPUs and on one of them the delta is ~5c while the other is only ~1c.

Nice results so far and will be interesting to see the highest FSB it can reach. Also what's the pack date as it's surprising to see an M0 stepping with the VID at 1.325v.

Interesting. Thanks for filling me in on that. :)

Jokester: Nicely done!

Nice getting to 400 FSB and a 100% overclock Jokester. Keep going! :D

The week 26 thing I think that comes from the FPO? But what is the pack date on the box?
