Intel i9-9900KS : 5GHz All-core announced...

Same chip, different name! I have yet to meet somebody that can't make a 9900k do 5ghz all core.

The difference is the KS is 5ghz 1.3v or lower And no avx offset (guaranteed stable)

Not all 9900k can do that, in fact most cannot and silicon lottery I think charges $999 for such a chip

Chances are if you are happy with a bit more voltage and some avx offset you’ll be able to push these to 5.2/5.3ghz and that’s really what you’re paying for - having these go 200mhz to 300mhz higher using the same settings as most 9900k take just to get 5ghz

Brilliant to see that intel have decided to keep all the good 9900k back and sell them as a new chip.

It’s the 8086 all over again, presume that 9900k will start to get worse OC results from about now on any new stock as with the 8700k.

yer but... INTEL, so we will still buy it right?
whats more some people will sell 9900k's to get an 9900KS

Right, and the only difference between them is the S in the name.

Its like when you ask those people who queue for 6 hours outside the Apple store what new features they are looking forward to on the new iPhone, they look at you in bemusement for asking such a ridiculous question before bursting out like a deranged 6 year old on a Christmas morning "its a new iPhone stupid!!! are YOU crazy??????"
