Intel is again gaining market share in DIY CPU market

Surely preorder means they sold out at the higher price? Who they couldn't have sold more at a lower price.
Maybe, but they prob bought previous stock at higher price too, so took awhile to shift..or they made enough from previous stock to hold bCk remaining and sell when thry grt rest in... Who knows, but at £199 its competitive again

The charts are out, AMD guys on the defence :D

I will buy Zen 4, unlike RPL which will be last cpu of that platform, Zen 4 will be first one and there will be support for at least 2 next gen cpu-s.

Do we know this for sure ?

Guess both Raptor Lake and Zen4 could be delayed to 2023, anything is possible with today's global supply problems. That said, as Zen4 is a brand new platform for AMD, it's more likely to be delayed compared to Raptor Lake. This is due to Raptor Lake being a drop in upgrade for existing Z690 motherboards.

I'd prefer Zen4, AM5 are launched in a very mature state, with no big bugs or glitches on launch. Will be a very good platform to upgrade to (if performance is there) due AM5 likely lasting 5-7 years+ with many new generations of CPU's.
