Ive got the Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 board and its a good board. its the newer chipset I personally would pay the extra £10 but that's just me.
plus through time it would give youan upgrade option if you got chance of a 9xxx chip
Ive had it running 24/7 on 4.5Ghz stable and the temps were fine but that's under a H80i cooler. there is a few boys run them at 4.8 24/7 but I never saw the need.@ jbh110tdi
Are you overclocking on this chip ? If so i hear they get a bit hot if run to high
.

as its set up as my second rig the now its running at 4.2 under a titan fenrir evo and again the temps are fine on it.
under load it goes to high 50's low 60's and idles at 19c but the idle I would take with a pinch of salt as the amd chips can tell lies low down ive been told
youre best to disable turbo and cool & quiet in the bios then set the clock ratio so you're getting 4.2Ghz
Thank you so much,I really appreciate you doing that. It will make setting up this board so much easier. What kind of Temps are you getting with this board under full load
.
I have the ud3p and have a custom loop.
Specs in sig now, cpu does not go past 56c (when 100% load ) with 2 gpu's under water aswell.
When gaming the cpu mainly around 37-45c
since your mainly doing video editing I would download realbench for doing the stress test
