I'm resetting to defaults and trying again, my goal is still 4.6GHz with RAM @ 2133MHz, i am determined!

Overclocking isn't about needing a faster CPU. It's about fun!

Its become some what of an addiction for me if i'm honest, I wont settle for a none overclocked CPU. And I generally go for the best air cooling available inorder to get max clocks (Air Max obviously)

Its got to the point now that I'm looking into Water or possible Phase cooling.

Fun? yes. Turning expensive? Yes

It used to be about getting budget processors and smashing the high end processors with them.. Now its more about getting high end processors and clocking them to their max!

2700K, 4.0 GHz, 1.18V
3930K, 4.0 GHz, 1.2V

I can run both stable at 4.6 GHz + but with current temps and both cooled by a single chiller they overheat (I may stop folding on the GTX 570 so I can clock the processors a little higher, but for the summer I have to throttle back on something).

2700K 4.9GHz @ 1.4v / 5GHz @ 1.42v

Max temps usually around 65c under IBT load, although my block is filled with plasticiser atm.

Core i5 760 runs at stock and stock volts for everyday use.

Will run at 3.8Ghz with everything set to 'Auto' in the bios, but very rarely do I need to run it like this. Normally if I am doing some video conversion or editing.

More than powerful enough at stock for everything else.

i7 2700K 4.5Ghz @1.3v. Prime & IBT stable, temps top out @65c under IBT

Benched 5.4Ghz @ a silly 1.56v.

3570k at 4.2GHz at 1.18v max voltage (1.16v under max load) using -0.05 offset voltage. Idles at 0.93v. Might overclock further, but since I am very much GPU bottle necked in all games (I'll be replacing it soon when the GTX 660 is released) there isn't any point in terms of real world performance increases.
