Can anyone please tell me 100%, which imaging software works with the P35 chipset. I have been using Acronis for the last 2 years, but it dos'nt seem to work with the P35. I can't find any compatibility info on Ghost, for the P35 either.

I am using ATI Workstation 9 with the P35 chip and it works fine, using ATI Home 10 with X38 chip...found the ATI W 9 would not work with the X38 chip.

If you have a Seagate or Maxtor HDD in your system, you could use DiskWizard or MaxBlast...which is basically ATI Home 10 minus a couple of insignificant features...:)

My windows installation is on 2 Raptors in raid0 (which is what i need to be able to image). I have allready got ATI home 9, but have read that it dos'nt work on the P35. It did work on my 965 (although only slowly). I ve just downloaded the 15 day trial of home 11, but am reluctant to install it until i can find out for sure if it works. Just wondering if there is any difference in the chipset support between home 9 and workstation 9 ?

I have an asus p5k-3 (p35 chipset) and im using acronis with no problems ..

im not sure i see the connection between the chipset and the acronis software ??

More than likely down to the SATA controller and not having drivers to support it.

Acronis works on mine (Gigabyte P35 DQ6) as does Ghost.

I think it is. As i said i'm running raid0 on the intel chipset (as opposed to the jmicron). So m4cc45 acronis works fine in raid0 ? What version are you using ?

The connection with the chipset is, on the NF4's in raid0, Ghost did'nt work either.

Using:

Acronis True Image 8.1.945

I know it's definately not the latest version!

I have no problems with it - said the image size would be 12GB and compressed it to 6GB. It is, however, very slow compared to Ghost (took 40 minutes to do it - with Ghost its around 10 minutes).
