Well it was the other date mentioned, and since very little has happened since the 21st, it's quite possible that the 10th August will prove to be the main date.

The 9450 will hardly drop at all, a few pounds maybe, but the retailers will likely try to get rid of all the 9450's as its been discontinued. The 9400 on the other hand should be considerably cheaper, as its replaceing the 9300 which like the 9450 is being discontinued.
The 6600 drops in price slightly, the 6700 gets discontinued.
The 9400 should be around £150+vat.

My revision 1 Gigabyte DS3 motherboard can only do 1066fsb though I think. Is that right??
when they are selling the last of the q9450 stock it will have to be between the price of a q9400 and a q9550 (£176 - £206) or they won't sell any.
