ok these new drivers seem to support trim in raid 0,been tested and are confirmed to indeed support trim. i have installed them twice and each time they install fine then reboot my pc.but on reboot it gets to the windows 7 screen then just hangs. i have to do an f8 restart using last known good config then it seems to go back to the old rst driver and restarts ok.no one else seems to have seen this and there doesnt seem to be anything mentioned by googling.so what is stopping the restart???

And like the previous version 11 drivers these are only stated to be for certain Intel manufactured motherboards.

It's possible they may not install or work properly on non-Intel boards.

hi guys any advice would be great.......
i have an asus z77 m/b, intalled 2 x 750 sata 3 6gb h/disks
they have been setup in bios as raid 0, and windows recognises them as 1 disk
which i know is correct.....the hard disks are working correctly no problems.....
what i now need to know now do i have to install intel rapid storage tech to enable
the disks to work faster....thanks mal1954

this is driving me insane. i have got and installed the latest bios which was modded to the latest orom. i have updated my force 3 firmware to version 5.03.so in theory i'm ready to install the latest intel rst raid, but, i have tried all the later drivers after 10.8.0.1003, but it just hangs at the windows logo screen. i have to restart at the last known good config. i really want to install the latest rst as it will now give me trim in raid 0. any ideas??

If this is for your mive-z in your sig then that is a 6 series board and there is no RAID0 trim support for it. RAID0 trim support is only for 7 series chipsets and 8 series chipsets will be supported with RST 12 when Haswell is launched.

Also be aware 11.5.0.1207 service has a bad memory leak so if your going to use 11.5.0.1207 just install the drivers, not the service.

What driver do you have currently installed, one of the earlier 11.5 drivers?

Well the easiest way might be to use the 11.2 driver instead which a lot of people report gives better results, well in benchmarks anyway. Not sure if that yeh was meaning your using an older 11.5 driver or not.

i'm still using the 10.8.0.1003 driver. anything newer and my pc gets to the windows logo screen then just hangs. i have to restart using last known good config
