Intel Raptor Lake 13th Gen CPUs are Here!

@8 Pack - Went ahead and purchased the Corsair Vengeance RGB EXPO 32GB (2X16GB) DDR5 PC5-44800C36 5600MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black (CMH32GX5M2B5600Z36). I'm assuming these will be plug and play with the settings above with an AM5 setup, will this mirror the same with an Intel setup?
Expo is the AMD equivalent or Xmp... I have not tried expo on Intel as its not built for the Intel imc and the spd is totally different.

I think those are due early next week. Already a couple of delays sadly. I can tell you that's a great choice our test boards are great.

Aorus Master z790 or ROG strix Gaming-E?

I’m leaning toward the Aorus but not too keen on the grey colour scheme of it.

Will be using a 13900k and some fast RAM.

Actually I also tried both of those also and both are great options. I think to pick between those two is more person choice as perf, overclocking etc was very similar. Both ran 7200mhz no issues and 6k plus 64gb. The only thing for me against the gbt was the huge m2 sink in the middle of the board will stop active backplate watercooling but that's not an issue if you don't water cool.

Should work the same I'd thought? If compatibility proves an issue, I'll keep the memory for a future build as I was asked last night if I'd consider selling my current Intel combo.

Will it work? Most likely!
Do we recommend it? Nope.

I've just taken delivery of the memory and it appears my current platform may soon be up for sale. Overall... great build quality however I wonder what chips Corsair use for this memory and might it be pushed further? Anyway, that's for a different thread and cheers for the rapid delivery as always!

Z690 & B660 Intel Motherboards Will Be Fully Compatible With AMD EXPO DDR5 Memory Kits & Profiles - I recently found this article about compatibility with EXPO+XMP memory kits being used on either platform, looks like plug and play?

Man you don't seem to understand our ethos.... We say something works if we physically tried it ourselves and only then... The internet, tech media is full of blah blah blah....

Trial and error are an expensive experience. I don't have the luxury of a warehouse full of unreleased/released hardware to test with. I've been doing this myself for the past 28 years, so yeah... I get your ethos and fully aware with regards to the media. :D

What are the Stocks Multipliers per acive core on 13900K its turning out to be murder to find out

e.g with 12900k it's

1 P Core Active 52
2 P Core Active 51
3 P Core Active 50
4 P Core Active 50
5 P Core Active 49
6 P Core Active 49
7 P Core Active 49
8 P Core Active 49

Ecore Ratio 1 39
Ecore Ratio 2 39
Ecore Ratio 3 39
Ecore Ratio 4 39
Ecore Ratio 5 37
Ecore Ratio 6 37
Ecore Ratio 7 37
Ecore Ratio 8 37

Doesnt Matter buildzoid was messing in the bios and scrolled past it

I find it odd that its not
P Cores 58,58,57,56,55,55,55,55 or something like that

P Cores 58,58,55,55,55,55,55,55
E Cores 43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43

It wont always be the same cores boosting high on each 13900K...... The Bios detects the better cores on boot up and those are the Performance cores with the better boost ratio.

Yeh i know that
But its weird that they either didnt bin for a 3+4 core load at 56+57
or did bin for it and chose not to use them

e.g are the voltage tables present for 56+57 multipliers for all of the cores
and are the voltage tables present for all 8 cores at a 58x multiplier
or only the two prefered cores

I would presume the 58x table is there and intel then set the best two cores as the prefered ones
but 56+57 is odd to not be used

Next week we’re expecting upto 500 units. I’d get your order in as the 13900k is selling very fast for us. :)

How are sales for Intel's 13th gen vs AMD's 7000 series? Seems much more interest in 13th gen, due to cost, DDR4 RAM and Z690 motherboard compatibility.
