I bought my core i7 2600k on the 10th febuary, I've heard rumours of this range being faulty. Do I need to send it back for replacement?

As luck would have it I left my motherboard to last for order and haven't bought it yet, I am getting either the asus p8p67 pro or the sabertooth p67 in the next 2 weeks. So is it the rev3 boards thats are the new ones?

Phew... Just bought a 2500k last week and the thread title raised my heartrate for a moment.

In case anyone's thinking of getting one, my OCUK Allosaur 2500k OC'd bundle arrived last Saturday with R3 ASUS P8P67. I was mighty pleased.

Ahhhh the dear one lol thanks for that

dear?

any board currently available, even the cheap ones, will eventually be replaced by B3 versions, it's just taking time for them to filter thru to the retailers, so if your on a tight budget, it will pay to wait. ;)

Sorry to hijack the thread but I recently bought a bundle from overclockers that included a P8P67 PRO, how do I tell what revision it is?

Meh, I dont have that :(

What should I do then? Only ordered from overclockers on the 7th of February.

Edit : Just checked by using CPU-Z and I have the 2nd revision.
