Intel RST causing boot drive to lock up for around 30 secs to 1 minute

Hello.

Specs below plus I have another 320gb sata spinner and I'm running 8.1.

Should I even be running RST? I thought it brought benefits outside of raid but all it does is freeze my pc once a boot when inside windows with permanent hd light activity and an iastore raid0 error.

Running the 2006 ms sata drivers and all is well but it seems wrong to be using such old drivers.

RST reports all is well but it obviously isn't.

Should RST be working of should I use other drivers?

try one or two versions older rst drivers

I found the latest ones to give some issues aswell

I've uninstalled the program and when I get home in going to check whether the driver stays behind as I've since read this is the best way to run a single ssd.

If it doesn't I will have a crack with some earlier versions.
