Intel SSD Performance

Have a 80 gig Intel SSD which is now 6 months old

I felt its not a quick and not having trim whats the best way to get it back up to speed. Windows 7 Score was 7.6 and now its 5.9.

I have gost images of my system

If it's a G1, you could try this, do a backup image of your OS (Win 7 Backup and Restore utility will be fine), put onto another HDD, then run HDDErase once done put the backup image back onto it...

No, it needs to be a secure erase to properly erase all the cells. This can be done through the new Intel toolbox version rather than HDDErase if you've got another computer or windows drive you can use.

Secure erase your SSD using HDDErase 3.3 and update your drive to the latest firmware then re-install your OS. You can now run Intel SSD Toolbox to Optimize/Trim it and maintain your drive.
