Got my system from overclockers and got the SSD upgrade too. It came with Windows installed on the mechanical drive with even the support line seems confused about this. Anyway got a few problems trying to install windows on the SSD.
Intel toolbox says it has no partition and I can't partition or secure erase because...
"ATA security is enabled. Secure erase cannot run until security is diabled. To disable security, power-cycle the SSD while Intel toolbox is running"
Any ideas how to do that?
BIOS see's the drive as the slave to the mechanical although worryingly it only has 8mb capacity. And when I remove the cables to the mechanical drive and try to install windows it comes up as a drive with 8mb capacity so can't install anything on it because there is not enough space. I tried to make a new partition and it reduced the capacity to 6mb.
Anyone got any idea's? Or is it faulty? The support line can't shed much light and at this rate im going to be wandering the lonely road of RMA again.
