Slower published write speed (but identical spec sheets)
So £20 more for a nicer outer caseing and next day delivery (weather permitting)

Intel work a bit differently to the other vendors just to confuse you. :p The other guys list the maximum transfer speed whereas Intel show Sustained speed instead.

Get some extremes in ;o

Wish we could. They're in major shortages.

You need at least 2 in raid to make it worth it - then it really shines
bit-tech have a (rose tinted) review of the kingstons in 2x raid
and WJA has posted some benchs with 4x RAID in another thread

As with the full size intel drives - indilynx wins some intel wins others.
but at £196 for 2x40 it's not a bargin but still beats the 80GB X25-M.

Interesting. Might pick one of these up to use instead of an original 74Gb Raptor just before the Windows 7 RC starts misbehaving.

Bit of a shame about the Kingstons, they were cracking value (got mine for £70 :) ) It'd be nice to see the Intels at no more than £80.

Forgive me, but what is the shame about the Kingstons? Seems to me they still represent value??

Nice to see these in stock here, I imagine they're gonna sell really quickly though...

Will you guys be getting any of the Kingston versions of these though, as I'm looking to get another pair soon.

I'd rather have the Kingstons as they are considerably cheaper, and are exactly the same drives.

Damn, I never noticed because of the heading in large text...

That sucks.. :(

Do you have to use identical SSD's for RAID-0, or could I pair up 2 of these with my current Kingstons???
