Hey guys. After resisting the lure of an i7, decided the best course of upgrade is with an SSD. I'm sort of on a budget because i need to get a new case so around 70-100 on one. Seen the Intel X25 40gb and was wondering if its a good choice? Would i be better off going for one slightly more expensive or is the x25 good bang for buck?

The intel drive is not a bad little SSD, been using one since January this year, and is perfect for OS/Apps, and at £70 its a nice price too.

Now that being said if i was looking to buy a sub £100 SSD at the moment something like this would probably be what id go for as its abit more space, quite considerably faster as well.

Sent you a trust e-mail with a few more options aswell. So unless your budget is really tight id choose one of the ones in the trust e-mail, mainly the 60gb one, or the one from OCUK above.

But if the budget would only strech to the intel, then it is still a very good little SSD.

+1 for Intel reliability. You can't go wrong with this amazing SSD. No need to buy the X25-M unless you will be writing to it a lot.
