the 56 series is server grade for vast processing

the 55 are aimed at the workstation market

Plus lower TDP, new technology process (32nm vs 45nm) and more cache (since two more cores). Something is obviously not priced correctly.

It would depend how much heat they were putting out and how much heat your single loop could handle.

Wouldn't neccessarily need a double loop just a lot of rads and pumps!

lol is that their biggest case? I know their hptx tray is designed with the mb in mind.

Seriously though would the motherboard take 2 x 480 in sli and still have (unobstructed) room for 2 revo drives and a sound card?

Would there be too much heat on the nb/sb that you would need to worry about wc that too?

dont know if revodrives work in raid

the northbridge would probably be ok under the fan

but EK are releasing an SR2 full cover block.

I'm cooling 4 Fermi's and a i7 [email protected] with a dual pump res and 1 x PA120.3, 1 Feser 120 and one RS240.

In the current heatwave in an un-airconditioned room at 100% load on CPU and GPUs

Fermis @ 50°C
CPU @ 70°C

CPU block is pants so replacing that and switching tubing size to 11/16mm to standardise with most other setups.
