Interlagos - Brazilian Grand Prix 2009 - Race 16/17

Love the giant TV screen behind the podium. What a great idea that is.

Trophy is hideous...
Made from recycled bottle tops... Lovely...
Personally I think it's a great concept for a trophy.

Design by national hero Oscar Niemeyer - who design most of Brazilia.

It's been a long time in the making but Button finally does it.

Also Brawn cleaned up in their "first year", who could've predicted that?

Given that he didn't do as well as 2 of the chaps that started behind him, I'd say so too.

Some people look for any little detail. They had the luxuary of changing strategy to a one stopper due to a safety car. People like to moan when drivers do it with safety cars or pitstops but Jenson did what was required on the track. No one has made as many crucial passes as Jenson has done this year ON the track in years.

That was an incredible drive under the circumstances.

Fantastic drive from Jenson, especially given the circumstances. Hamilton was epic and Vettel drove brilliantly as well but today belongs to Button. Feel sorry for Barichello with the puncture etc but he wasn't going to do enough anyway the way Webber and Kubica drove after the first stint.

Jenson Button - World Champion.

Fully deserved and great to see.

Such a dissapointing race and one of, if not the most unworthy champion ever.

A real world champion can win races when they don't have the best car such as Schumacher, Alonso, Hamilton and even Raikkonen. Button on the other hand is useless in anything but the best car.

Luckily next year Button will be at the back of the field again since all cars should be reasonably level again

There's always one! Alonso had the best car, Schumacher had the best car. The tail end of this season, Red Bull have had the best car. Get a clue.

Does anyone actually think he will win the championship again next year ?

No, obviously he won't because he is not championship worthy. Fact
