Interlagos - Brazilian Grand Prix 2009 - Race 16/17

Congratulations to Jenson and Brawn, an excellent season for them both. I was really impressed with Kobayashis speed this weekend, just a shame about his control under overtaking.
 
Looks like Bernie may be killed on the way home.
He said to the Brazilian press that Senna's death was a good thing for F1.

"It was very sad but in the end his death was good for F1, many people who had never heard of the sport became aware or it and started to follow"

Good for F1 - definately not.
Good for FOM's wallet - almost certainly.
 
Awesome coverage from the BBC, especially post race.

We didn't get anything like this from ITV when Hamilton won which is a shame.

Well done Button, another Brit in the top spot. :D
 
wahooooo. Im sure its cos i decided to sit in my brawn t shirt, cap and jacket :D

is jenson gonna be anywhere nearer leicester after his bluewater trip? Kents too far away and moving house this week so meh.

I have known Jenson since he was Karting, he is a very talented driver, sure I am not in his circle now, but it makes me very happy he has done so well this year. Anyone who doesn't think he is a deserved champion is a total moron. He has made mistakes, like all do, but this year he won more GP than anyone else, and drove a sensible season to preserve what he did. Then, in the final race, he went balls out to overtake and do what he needed to do.

Utmost respect for his ability, and at last, his head. Niki Lauda said it all...
 
Get in there Jenson - knew you could do it. A little less drama next time please though - I don't think the poor old ticker can take any more last grasp British WDC's!

Oh, and thanks for the £2k from the 200-1 bet I put on back in Dec for Jenson clinching the WDC :-)
