International Friendlies - England vs Norway/Belgium [May 26th - June 2nd 2012]

Hazard vs england:

Was quite impressed, he doesn't overcomplicate and doesn't give the ball away too easily. Almost like mata but with a bit more dribbling ability. I imagine he'll get a tonne of assists next season.

Not with Torres up front he won't :p

(rubbish vid by the way)

Hell Rooneys best game for England was when he played for Everton against Turkey.

nah surely it was either against France or Croatia at Euro 2004? Was still an Everton player then as well

Maybe but for me it is Turkey, he was utterly fearless, wanted the ball all the time and the team gave it to him any opportunity they could. What a game that was from a 17 year old and his first full start iirc. :)

It's funny, you look at the team, Neymar is highly rated yet I've rarely seen him play, Marcelo I know can't defend for ****, Romulo, Oscar, Leandro Damiao is a name I know but he's only played for Brazil 7 times and has one goal, Hulk, I've yet to see him look good to be honest but can accept he probably has been in games I've not seen.

The team hardly screams, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Robinho, Gilberto(the good one) Cafu, etc, etc. When I see them play they look fairly ordinary, not bad at the world cup but no where near their old best and when pushed against the Dutch they looked pretty awful. The fact that Melo ever played for them really suggests how dodgy they've become.

Finally seen a replay of the first goal, really nice goals, the penalty, mostly a dive but defender stuck leg out at a ball going away from goal with at that second, no danger at all, utterly stupid.

its unfair to compare Internationals to Club level imo - but I cant see why he is worth £20m let alone £30m+ from last night

(with different players around him, and the fact he is very young - it wll be interesting to see how he develops - but imo next season will need to be a case of developing his skills to the speed/quality of the EPL, rather than already being a massive help to any of Chelsea's aims.

(Ie if the England side that played last night were an EPL team, they would be relegation fodder, ....maybe a little extreme :D but they certainly wouldnt be challanging for the title either)

You mean like how Ronaldo looked like an £80m player against Turkey? Oh wait....

Messi with a hat trick.
Argentina 4-3 Brazil

One of the best games I've seen in a while.

These American commentators are hilarious as well. "thank you God for making Lionel" "thank you lord for giving me the chance to watch this game" "THANK YOU GOD FOR MESSI"
